Weoley Castle

Weoley Castle is not actually a castle but the remains of a medieval fortified manor house that had six towers and was surrounded by a moat. It was built in the 13th century but has been a ruin since the time of the Civil War.

It is classed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument of national importance. The ruins are not accessible to visitors, but there is a viewing area with information panels that is open to the public at weekends.
